As for the "app feature" - do you mean weather, gas prices, movie times, etc? These features are in EVERY MyLink and require an active OnStar subscription to use these apps. If they do not appear on your Menu, then you may have removed pages or altered your Apps on the screen. This can be undone or modified in the CONFIG menu.

The MyLink software updates you're referring to are not upgrades or improvements to the MyLink unit, they're simply there to update all similar units as required over time.

The USB comment leads me to believe that you simply do not know how to use Pandora, Bluetooth Music, or other synced radio features with your phone/memory device. Can you please elaborate on what you know about, or do not know about?
Actually, the movie, gas prices and weather apps are from XM sat radio, not OnStar. The apps were working for me before I signed up for the free 6 month trial with OnStar. As soon as my XM radio was turned on for the free trial the apps started working.

I dont know about everyone else, but Google Maps apps are 1000% better than the Nav in MyLink (atleast in the DC area). I am CONSTANTLY yelling at it for wrong roads and poor decisions...

Sounds good. How do you get the MyLink display to show your phone's Google Maps app?

The My Link does not have a aux video input, so it cannot display a phone's screen/video display.
