LOL. I finally wore my nitto NT05R's down enough to warrant changing them. Put on a set of Mickey Thompson ET streets, took it to the track to try it out, made one slow pass with a passenger then got hit by a large thunder shower. So far I'm impressed with the difference in grip. The new M/T's gripped so well the rims slipped about 2 inches in the tires. I hope they're seated now!!!!

I love my car but it is a pain in the ass to get traction.

If they're warm on a prepped track they're good but I agree on the street it hard not to spin

I'm going with studded snow tires next.

Might be a good temporary measure so I can drive the thing at least - trying to avoid dropping $3k until I close on the house I'm buying haha!

I'll check tomorrow. I work at a dealership in parts so I usually find time to research parts. I looked awhile back and thought it was around $500 for the disks and pressure plate. Would probably be a good idea, if not a requirement, to also change the flywheel to get maximum life out of the unit. I can send you a PM with a price, maybe a shade over my cost. Lol.

Looks like the factory clutch assembly will cost $365 and adding a new flywheel would be $671. Just throwing this out there for everyone as an alternative.
