yep you are correct, watched the last stand tonight and the ZL1 in it handled great... well if using it in a corn field to pick corn and then get the car decapitated because it could not turn out of the way of a tractor fits. Although the corvette it was chasing came out a little better.

^^^ That wasn't a real ZL1. It was a SS with ZL1 parts.

I don't know about this 1200 limited production.
I'm reading on another forum that they plan on making 300 Hellcats a month for a total of just over 3000 a year. Plus a Time Attack model is also in the works.

This came from a member on another forum that has always had spot on information.

Hope this info is correct and not just the 1200 units, that would be a bad love on Dodge's part.

I believe you are right but I believe dealerships are going to use the 1200 as a initial way to bump prices. Based on their original comments I was hoping in good faith they were going to sell at MSRP like they said but what I am seeing does not lend me to think that.

I just read something on a different site. Dodge CEO said the 1200 number was made up by someone in an article.

So no limited run. That should help the consumers as far as the dealerships having to come down to MSRP eventually.

I read the same article. Dealer told me today initial off plant runs was 1250 and there will be more. 2nd round should see dealers by October-November time frame.
