I'm torn on if I like the Canyon or Colorado better. I usually go with GMC over Chevy for trucks and SUV's.

I see a Red Hot/Black Leather short-bed Z71 with the V6 in my future.

It can keep the Camaro company in the garage.

Still don't understand why the freight cost is less for the Colorado vs the Canyon, when they basically the same truck

Because its a way for GM to charge more without making it look like they're charging more. The price is often quoted without destination charges, but destination charges are mandatory. So trade a bit between MSRP & freight and you can make it look like the truck is cheaper than it really is.
