I'm still waiting to break it in before I start pushing hard on engine. I just checked the mileage and still havent broken 50 miles yet. Guess thats what happens when you only drive from your house to Kokohead shopping center (3 miles round trip). I'll be taking it out on a long drive this weekend to pick up my friends bumper protector from Windward Servco for her Toyota Matrix. I'm still reading up on the camaros manual and learning alot of stuff that I wouldnt have known about if I didnt.

Anyways, check out your rear spoiler. According to the forum, looks like there was a torque issue on tightening the bolts on the spoiler and alot of owners are finding theirs loose. I think there are 6 bolts holding it on. There loose by half a turn. One of the owners had the bolt come off inside the trunk and is rattling which would be annoying.

Anyone been checking out the hawaii camaros club page?

Hay everyon I been driving the camaro around Kahului, and Wailuku for the past six days, i don't mean to brag or anything it's just :happy anim:: happyanim::happya nim::h appyanim::happyan im::ha ppyanim::happyani m: This car is amazing, compaired to my TBSS (i know it's a SUV but) the pick up of this car is amazing, the TBSS has a LS2 6.0 395 hp, 400 tq (retuned to about 420 hp, and 445 tq at the crank) The Camaro still accelarates much smother, and faster.

Thats fantastic!! Im really happy you are enjoying it. Been nervous im not going to be happy with the torqe and speed. I've had my eyes open for ya on the road this past weekend, sounds like my buddy saw you in Wailuku by the Jack in the box, i said i thinks its a guy from the forums.

Anywho, maybe we can do some cruising when i get mine in. Im at 3000 as of late July, looking at taking delivery end of Oct.

I think I have seen your 69 camaro out on the roads. The 69 I saw has black rally stripes with the SS symbol in the middle of the grill?

So Mike, you live in the Hawaii Kai area? I might be at Kokohead shopping center on Friday meeting with a friend. Maybe you'll see me, black SS. And I still don't have my plates.

I'll be driving a RS/2SS SIM with CGM Ralley Stripes, or my BMW X5 depending if I am taking the dogs to the dog park later in the day.

Just wondering for future information, does anyone know where I can get replacement tires here on Oahu (same brand as what I have currently)?

I was in Kokohead today to pick up some stuff at Bark Ave and then ate at the Chinese resturant next door around 12pm. Had to go to Servco in the morning to pick up some parts.

Everyone please read this!!!
I'm working at Bayfest on the Marine base, JN has a Yellow 2SS here on display vin#5269. The guy Uncle Jerry told me someone owns it and has to let JN display it here for the weekend. I know the owner appearently lives in Hawaii Kai area.
Now for the purpose of this message: They are allowing people here to sit on it and take pictures, and when they leave for the night no one is here to watch it. I personally saw people all over it sitting drinks on it and it outraged me that someone has paid for this Car and they do not give that person the respect to rope it off or to treat this car the way it should be. So please if anyone knows the owner get this to them.

I dont know the owner, but have seen the car out here in Hawaii Kai a few days ago. I wonder why JN has the power to require the owner to display his car at the event. Even at that, they should have it roped off to protect the car. I would be pissed if had my car out there and someone dumped a soda or coffee inside the car.

Thanks. If I do see him in the near future, i'll pass the information. At least he would be able to chew out JN for not taking care of his car.
