Looking to buy soon

Long story short I was about to buy a 1le with ba sound and npp about a month ago. Signed all the paperwork but ended up changing my mind because of the amount they were giving me for my trade. Now I'm back in the market and have been pre approved through my credit union. Get to keep my current car (04 Grand Prix) and got a better rate than what the dealer got me the first time.

Now tomorrow or Friday when I go in I will probably end up buying the same car as I almost did 1 month ago. I have gms pricing and private offer which comes out to $32740 before tax. Otd I'm probably looking at $36000. My question is dealers can't go a cent lower than gms employee pricing right? I was told at another dealer that it is not allowed. Before I make the plunge just want to know what you guys think and if I am missing something. Thanks

36000 OTD on a 32700 sale? What is the sales tax rate.....like 10%? Seems like a padded price to me.
