The SS is selling in limited numbers. It will be interesting to see what Chevrolet decides to do.

Haha! So now we're gonna compare the Z06 to a four door sedan? Like I said in other threads, who cares what the Z06 does anywhere compared to the challenger or Charger. Your talking two completely different segments especially when talking about the charger.
I respect dodge for having the balls to build a car like this. No one on the planet has this.

I just saw the white one on R&T magazine. White is my favorite color.

That is officially bad ass. I would take this over the Challenger. The only thing that concerns me is the f/r weight distribution and skinny tires, but otherwise kick ass.

You can fit 305/30/19s on the Challenger or Charger ;-)

Not really feeling the Viper hood they put on the Hellcats. It looks great on sports cars, but it seems kind of out of place on the Challenger/Charger.

That's because the Europeans restrict theirs to 155. An unrestricted Panamera Turbo S will top that. AMG might have something, too, if unrestricted.

Hard to outrun a 2-way, regardless of what it's housed in.

Hellcat Charger at 4560 lbs., on 275 tires?

Z06 @ 3600 lbs. on 325 tires?

No wait...the Charger's aero advantage FTW!

Well, since the Challenger and Charger now out-1/4-mile the Viper, the Mopar folks are getting feisty...for the first time in a very l-o-n-g time...

Too bad the rest of the cars weren't similarly upgraded to more suitably handle all that power...

Pete, why aren't they factory-offered? The car is MORE than HALF-FAST...but the underpinnings required to "direct connect" the power are HALF-ASSED.

"Headlines" vs. Budget/Selling Price?

Screw it...ill just build me an aluminum 426 for my current ride and throw about 20 pounds of boost at it. LOL.
hahahhaahaaaa

I like the look on the Dart, I just don't know it translates well to a full size Charger. Doesn't matter as most of us will only see its tail lights

$15,000+ price difference though. I dunno. I could do a lot with $15,000. I am curious to see how the Charger does in the $60,000+ segment. It is essentially taking over the price point of the outgoing V2. And people complained about paying $60k for a Cadillac (despite performance). I wonder how they are going to feel about paying that for a Charger...

SS can't compete here. Not even in the same league.

What I meant by that is that instead of buying a Hellcat Challenger and an SS for my wife, I can just get a Hellcat Charger, save a bunch of money and have an even faster car. This also gives me even more reason to hang onto my ZL1. My wife was having an issue with me having a Camaro and a Challenger at the same time. Not that I ever really listen to her on these types of matters anyhow. LOL

Too bad something like THIS wasn't more carefully considered:

http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/s...312-2fx4q.html

Hurdles that will be easily overcome when the Alpha replacement is Lansing-assembled.

Money, ride quality and durability.
