Got tired of waiting, ordered that part above from Amazon and a remote control relay box from Ebay. Ill be installing a front camera this weekend. I don't really want a dvd input so I don't need an audio input.

Are you connecting the front camera to your mylink?

Yes, I don't need audio so I'm just modifying the circuit 64stingray used. I will still have an extra input if I want to add anything else. I didn't want a switch anywhere so I opted for a key fob with 4 buttons that control 4 hidden c/nc/no relays. Will have unused relays if I decide to add anything else and tie it into the remote.

I'm going to do the same thing but only got the 1 channel relay box don't need to add any other cameras. I found that you don't need to go all the way to the trunk to tap into the camera wires you can find them behind the mylink HU. He's a site not a camaro but the wiring is the same maybe it'll help with the install http://gm-volt.com/forum/showthread.php?103313
good luck and let us know your progress

A right side camera will definitely be a plus for a convertible making a left hand turn. The blind spot caused by the sailpanel can hide big trucks.
I really want a chin spoiler camera and a DVD would make long trips more enjoyable. I'm in no hurry, I'll wait for the PNP, but thumbs up to those who can DIY. |

Any progress on the PNP harness, this would be a much better solution than I was contemplating.... 3 Micro wireless IP cameras , a wireless router, and an iPad.
