I've been trying to get the private offer to pop up for a few weeks, finally tonight it worked. I used Google Chrome and had to refresh about 5 times and then it popped up.

My car should be arriving at the dealership tomorrow, so it worked just in time.

Does the popup come before, during, or after you select a dealer from list & submit ?

The private offer can not be used with conquest rebate so if you have a 1999 or newer non GM car there is no reason to try for a private offer. I tried for a week in July and my wife finally got one. I drove down to the dealer thinking the deal I wanted would work but there was no change in the dealers price.

I clicked on adjust payments a few times and changed the down payment amount and interest rate a few times. I also hit request quote a few times, but the private offer popped up on the screen where you can select request quote, locate a dealer, value your trade-in and credit score information.

Oh as others have said previously, I cleared my browsing history, before I started.

Private Offer works with supplier pricing. Just present it as cash AFTER (I repeat AFTER) your negotiations are done. Its used as CASH. Free from GM.
Free GM cash is costing the dealer nothing.

There's a form to sign off on in F and I as part of your paperwork as well. Make sure you read it and understand it. Has to do with the significant discount you are getting.

Discount for family is not worth the time! So I think it saved me a whole $12. Yeah...
