Dang dude, when I made 500rwhp on 305/25/22 street tire full weight and m6 I ran 7.9 @98mph. My best 60 ft was 2.1. You definitely need some gear!

You will get it, keep at it.
Troof I never look at rpms. I listen for when she tells me to shift. But definitely should be 65-6800 range.

Working on it. I think I have been short shifting and will be practicing more. I have plans for 3.91 gears to be installed as well as figure something out in my tune.

I saw another thread about the 10ft mark where there is a tire sensor that will cut engine power to 1500rpm then once it catches up it opens back to 100%.

M3hta1 I was at the track that night with you. Black camaro with GTKILLER license plate. I tore up my stock with 3.91s differential that night. Got greedy 1.69 all the way down to 1.430 60ft . You seen my wheel and tire combo that's my drag pack I switch back to my 22inch Irocs when I'm just chilling. You need a dedicated drag wheel and tire setup if you want the most out of your car. Get Ryan to look at that table about wheel sensor set at 15mph it racked my brain till Tickperformance came to track and found it. Word to wise I wouldn't put those 3.91s in unless you get differential built. I'm in process now on deciding ZL1 differential , Hammerhead or cheap route getting RPMTransmission to build me a stock3.91. I know those 3.91s gears help our Heavy cars get off line that's my only concern with going to 3.73 in ZL1 differential. Come to track this Saturday they have 30,000 dollar grudge race we can talk some more

I'm looking to buy those and some 305 Hoosier rubber for a good strip setup.

+56, those will need a a spacer.

305/45/18 and 18x9.5 + 40mm, just tie back the e brake cables...

Damn... I really like the way C5 Z wheels look. I have to find them in the right offset I guess.

You honestly need to do what he said and get some 18" vette reps and a 305/45/18 MT dr.
Street tires will allow you to make a pass and get an MPH figure. The MPH will give you an idea what the car will run if you get it to hook.

Better would be the 18 x 9.5 rear with 18x 8 front TSW Nurburgrigs with a 305/45R18 Nitto NT555R tires but of course 18" is not going to look as good as 20" so you just need understand what your willing to compromise. Another thing is that the Nitto NT555R is only going to last 10k max of street/strip use.

In the long run I can guarantee that it is cheaper to have a dedicated drag tire/wheel set up that you switch out for the strip. The reason for this is a long lasting street tire could last you up to 40k miles with 100% street use. Your dedicated drag wheel/tire setup could last 6yrs if it is used on the strip only. Plus you could use a real drag radial like a MT for good 60fts not a street/strip tire like a Nitto Nt555R.
Big wheels vs smaller wheels are a matter of taste. With the 45 series tire on an 18" wheel, you'll get more sidewall flex - THAT will save axles. Very low profile DRs are HARD on axles due to lack of flex upon launch.
