F$%KING PEOPLE, LEARN TO DRIVE
Well while at work today (happened sometime between 9-5) someone decided they would clip the front passenger corner of my 1LE and drive off without the courtesy of leaving info and now my MINT SW 1LE is not so mint anymore. This is why people cant have nice stuff anymore it either gets hit or stolen by some lowlife.
I have notified our security and hopefully it was caught on one of the Security cams in the area, here is a pic of the Damage: Its not horrible but f$$k, I spend alot of time keeping my car clean(6+) hours a week. I park at the back of parking lots and still this shit happens. F$$$KKK /rant |

My wife had the same thing to her 1LE at work. At least I was able to polish it out.

Yeah the black spots aren't paint transfer, this wont buff out unfortunately and the while corner is pushed in. Corner Lens is cracked and splitter is nice and scuffed.

I agree with you that it is very difficult to have a nice ride when you constantly have to worry about crap like this happening. I know accidents happen but it is frustrating when you take a lot of pride in your vehicle and the some careless person ruins your property.
So, of course there are worse things in life so don't sweat it too much. Just fix it and move on is the best advice. |

My last ride had to go through the same thing. Someone backed into it, left some nice dings, and took off. The trick is to park somewhere where security cameras are present and practically staring right at your car. Never trust anyone.

Tried to look for a pic. Could not find one. I hope they have something on security camera.

people never cease to verify my believe that the human race hit its peak in the late 50's to late 60's, and is now on a slow decent downwards.

I've had people leave marks on my car but nothing so bad.
a chip in the paint from a Honda Civic coupe that opened their door on my car and quickly drove off before I got there in time A small scratch on my passenger mirror from a guy in a truck at work who I did not complain to because I felt bad, knowing his wife has had cancer the past 12 years or so and he doesn't have too much money as a result And a huge scuff from some old toyota or nissan pick up with the bumper hanging off that backed into my rear end (parked) and that actually polished out OK. They also took off like the Civic... |
