Zl1 cooling upgrade

Hai guys,
Over here in dubai it seems to me that keeping the car cool is more important than increasing the power.
With upgrading the car we void the warranty and pushing the car to its limits are going to result in a sharp increase in temperature as a whole.
My car is stock except for the tune. If I do a run for more than 10 mins the engine oil temperature rises like hell.
What are the upgrades that i can do to keep the car running as cool as possible.
Bigger intercoolers are a given.
any ideas other than that

Cooler plugs,160 degree stat, larger reservoir how warm is your oil temp running are you sure your intercooler pump is working right also it might be in the tune you had done did you have someone tune it or did you us a hand held?

My car's oil temp goes to 130 without much effort.
It's already like 40 C over here.
Have an upgraded intercooler pump as the oem broke.
Have talked to my tuner regarding a oil cooler upgrade.
He has suggested to go with the corvette oil cooler.

Also those super chillers has also caught my eye. Donno it wld be practical in this part of the world. Also the water sprays seem to be a gud idea. Has anyone had them installed in there zl1.

Is the oem transmission cooler enough for 45°c...

If you've gotten a tune that would have already voided the warranty right?

Cooler plugs, 160 stat and the larger reservoir are not going to help. First I would ask the tuner to look at fan turn on temperatures and fan speeds. You might be able to tune in turning on the fans on earlier and spin them faster.

Super chiller would just move the temp around. Your issue is not just intake air temperature but the fact that your ambient air temperature is so high. The car as a whole can reject only so much heat in stock configuration.

The best way to lower temps is going to be adding a bigger radiator, an oil cooler and heat exchanger.

If it was me I would by a bigger aftermarket radiator, bigger aftermarket heat exchanger and a bigger aftermarket oil cooler. If you are going to be in heavy traffic or driving slowly I would consider supplemental fans.

I personally would not waste my time with reservoirs either. They add volume so the car will be slower to heat up but if the heat load/ambient temperature is high then you will get high operating temperatures it will just take longer to get to them. Reservoirs are great for compensating for inadequate cooling for short blasts. The same can be said for water/methanol injection. Both are great for drag racing but not great for road racing or street driving.

One other thing. Check your tune. I would make sure the tuner does not have it too aggressive. A leaner tune could mean higher temperatures. Just another thought.

what about switching to e85 or running a meth system?

I have heard rumors that when switching to e85 has actually been known to add frost to the fuel lines since it runs so much cooler

Meth works just fine as long as you have someone who knows how to tune.
