This perception that some hold, some I say, not all, that many chose an automatic over a manual tranny is because manuals require some fine tuned skill to operate sort of tickles me and maybe some other old timers who cut their teeth driving manuals. Maybe it's because there is a less percentage of those under say, 40 , that never learned to drive manual and therefore the segment of those who have learned somehow feel some skillful superiority. I find it amusing.

I agree, the Chevy SS have been averaging 15% loss ...

Orange 2010, I have the exact same car as you have. I purchased my new back in Nov of 09. Love the car. Don't worry about that L99. You can fix it. I did. Enjoy your journey to more power. :-)
