I understand why some people buy the V6 mainly because of insurance but if a person can overcome that you will never go wrong with a LS3 or L99 especially at resell time....

I have a buddy who bought a '13 V6 auto. He wanted the V6 auto because he was buying it for his 16 year-old daughter. He let me drive it and I was impressed with it. It's not in the league with the V8, but it's not bad. The one thing you'll never get with the V6 though is that V8 rumble. That makes it SOUND like a muscle car, and that's half the battle.
