Edit: must have posted that while I was asking the question.

Now I wonder when it's all connected and a strap gets hooked up to it will it cause damage to my paint.
Nothing touches the paint. Nothing as long as they pull somewhat strait the strap will never hit the paint. If you do not have tow hooks is when the paint gets messed up.

Tow hook receivers in stock for ZL1

I just want to say I installed the front and rear receivers. I've been extremely pleased with ZL1addons products. The installation was straight forward and in both cases a person would not know you had a receiver without the hook installed.

I also have the aluminum pinch weld floor jack pads and they make maintenance a lot easier.

Just placed my order!

I hope the instructions are well written. I'm not crazy about cutting holes in my car.

I wasn't either but the templates and instructions make it easy enough. Make sure you have good drill bits. Makes the job a lot easier.

Yes, I was not a fan of cutting either. So thats why we made them easy to install and well hidden when not in use. Yes sharp bits are needed because the sub bumper is a bit hard.

That's nice that the instructions are for both front and rear. I'm still dealing with CF parts getting installed. I can then order the rear hook from you.

MTCobra, can you do a DIY for the front tow hook install?

Why did I not think of that. I'll be able to put together something close to a DIY...especially useful may be a list of tools needed.

Better photos of the hook and the plug for those concerned with the look.
