That must be a crappy Insurance Company! I work for Farmers Insurance and although we don't have the Z/28 in our system you can input the VIN and it will pull the car up and price.

I would suggest calling a Farmers Insurance Agent, they will take care of you. If you live in California give me a call! If your a good driver you get a discount, if you have a college degree ect! Make sure they put the car down as a "pleasure drive" that will save you alot of money.

And don't look for the cheapest policy, the z/28 is a amazing and fast car you wont the best coverages you can get!

It was a lot easier back in the day, when I bought my '69 Z/28 and wanted to add it to my insurance policy, the agent only wanted to know what engine, I told him the smallest V-8 available in a Camaro, he said "Great" and I happily went to pick up my new Z/28 for dealer delivery.

I cant imagine what mine would be adding a Z28. I pay $612 a month right now for my '11 Dodge Journey, '09 Honda Accord and '08 Honda Fit. Wife had accidents and son is 20yo.

Send him the VIN# , and he/she will have it done in seconds , but off course they have to have a computer on hand

No Green Machine it's a 2014, Ive given them all the info they've asked for and still can't give me a quote. Says it will be Sept. 15th before that can have it in there system.

I would bet you could beat their prices by shopping elsewhere anyways...AND... get a quote in 15 minutes or less.

Also remember that Costco members get a group-buy discount; I think they use Ameriprise (and American Express spinoff)...
