NO lift shift ?

Do you have to use launch control when you use NO lift shift ?
The reason i ask is because i have heard that you can get a better time in the 1/4 mile if you launch a ZL1 normally .

Launch and NLS are available in any PTM Mode, they don't have to be used together.

You can use no lift anytime you want. Just run it to the redline and keep your foot planted on the gas when you push in the clutch and shift. It's actually pretty cool and keeps you in boost. If you lift at all then you loose boost.

So no lift works in touring or sport mode too? You don't have to switch to PTM modes? Seems like I asked this a year ago. LOL.

I have used the no lift shift on an uphill on ramp. I was not using a PTM mode.

From what I found you can do a no lift shift in any and all modes. I did see one thing that said if you don't get the shift done in less than .5 seconds it won't keep holding the blower bypass valve closed.

Is NLS bad for your trans at all?

It is rough on it, but then again it does come with a warranty.

For anyone who has tuned for a higher redline, does the no-lift shift feature (and the HUD shift timing lights) correspond/adjust to the new higher value, or do they remain programmed to the stock redline? Thanks.
