Question about the Catch Can. I just purchased my new 2014 2SS and was wondering is this something that is better to have during the break in period or does it matter? I see and understand the issues that happen if you don't have one at all, but am I safe not to install one now and wait for a month or two. I drive 50 miles one way to work.

Here is my baby,

Congrats on the new ride. The sooner you can get a catch can on your engine the better. Ideally, you would want to install one the day you brought the car home.

Does anyone know if a Vararam intake will physically prevent this install? It looks like the sane radiator hole used to keep the Vararam in place.

Well this sucks! I have had my 2011 2SS since the begining. Busy modding my 05 EVO VIII, and now the Camaro has 28K miles on it. Should I get a catch can with this many miles on it? Car is only driven about 5 minutes round trip to work and before when in Texas it was drivien about 20 minutes round trip to and from work. What are the opinions of the catch can gurus?

GM's solution for the carbon build up issue is to have you come in and pay for an upper induction cleaning every 20k miles. Go have that done and then install a catch can.
