in the past 3 years i have only seen 1 zl1 on the road EVER. and in the past week I've seen 10 c7's... personally ide be all over a murdered out zl1. Also I've been told that the z51 corvette rides much more harsh than the non z51, just a thought.

It is funny to see the difference in opinion on here about these cars.. I too am one of those that have found a way to put full size people in the back seat of the camaro.. All be it not as easy to get into vs a 4 door or as comfortable.
It is not a daily thing for me by any means but can be done.

for a daily it is tough. C7 way better milage but the camaro has more room.
if you can live with the size of the corvette get the vette. 20mpg's is like the tops in this car and the corvette probablay will get that driving it hard and close to 30 if not 30 on the hwy. I still nee a back seat so as much as I like the C7 Z06 it has to wait for me.

Coming from a C6, one thing I like about the ZL1 over a base Vette is how "overbuilt" the ZL1 is. It sits at 580hp stock and throwing another 100hp in mods does not sacrifice reliability at all. This car was built to take serious power. When I got to 100+ extra on my C6 there were other things that I had to start to think about (trans, rear end). Maybe the C7 is built the same way the ZL1 is, but if you are thinking about modding it's something to consider. |

So is a ZL1. Looks are simply personal preference. I see so many C7's on the road they're losing their appeal. There aren't anywhere near as many ZL1's running around. The ZL1 is the more unique car nowadays.

This question comes up a lot and I am not sure why. Although these cars are similarly priced performance cars, they fill different niches. You need to decide what you want.
Although I love Corvettes, I would never take it over my Camaro.

For a guy my size, the automatic dealbreaker with the Vette is that I am not comfortable in it. Same issue with the GT500. The ZL1 fits me just fine and has the aggressive appearance I absolutely LOVE.
