My VDI Kit was sent last week, and should be arriving soon. I ordered mine through Showstoppers along with side markers.
If you're going to make a big modification, and yes the doors are a pretty big deal, you don't want to get the cheapest deal possible.
VDI is more expensive, because they are as good as it get when it comes to door kits. The crapy kits WILL damage your car, and you will pay more to have it corrected/fixed than you would have spent on a better kit.

Just remember... It's YOUR car, you pay the bills for YOUR car, you can do WHATEVER THE #$%& YOU WANT TO IT. Some people don't like vert doors, some people do. Different strokes for different folkes.

Cheers,
Chrispi

By that same token, some people like getting chrome paint and 30" rims. But we rip on them. And that seems to be okay. Right? So why can't we rip on lambo doors? We're not being mean, we're trying to help prevent... embarrassment.

to be fair also, the OP asked about where to get them and price. Not anything about "what do you guys think about this.....".

That is like saying, hey, my dog has a sore on his foot, what medication is best. Then the forum replying that all dogs are evil and should be taken to the pound. The forum seems to lose focus on what is being asked.

A camaro? It's 2014 dude. A V8? It's 2014 dude. A gas engine? It's 2014 dude. A black car? It's 2014 dude. Saying a bad "it's (insert year here)" comment? It's 2014 dude.

Yeah, that crap gets old real fast. When people ask for specifics that is what they are looking for, not to be bashed because someone wants to add to a thread count or just has to put their opinion in on everything. That stuff is ok when someone says, " I got these new wheels on my car, what do you think?" They are the ones looking for that kind of stuff. I am sure that the op could find something wrong with everyone else's cars that are ragging on him for his choices. "But it's all in good fun." It is not always fun to people, some actually get offended but don't say anything and then are hesitant to ask anymore questions when all they are looking for is help. If you get a kick out of sharing that type of opinion then go to yellow bullet or somewhere like that. They love to encourage that type of crap. It's his car, his money, let him spend it how he sees fit just like you do. "I don't care what people think or have to say about my choices" well some people actually do. Sorry op not speaking for you, just getting tired of some of the senseless crap that makes it hard to find what you are looking for. Didn't mean to jack the thread.

so true, its not ripping on him at all. He has a nice car the way it is, why ruin something nice?
Ie- gold or chrome paint, 30's, 26's, multi color paint schemes that dont match, horrid body kits etc. Nobody is saying he cant do it, only its not suggestable bc he will be getting laughed at by most (not all).

You're right, bro! I have a REALLY nice car the way it is. I love it! But one of the reasons I love it is because it's a base model and it's white. It's like a blank canvas that I can do ANYTHING with. Don't get me wrong, I was super stoked when I bought the car and driving it is fun, but if I'm gonna drive a performance car that only gets 19 mpg, I'm gonna mod it out. lol Besides, it's just plane fun.
