I love my 2010 2SS it has 92k miles on it and still not a single problem. I love the wheels on my camaro vs the 2014 ss wheels. I also love that I don't have none of the junk that help a shitty driver. I back up just fine without sensors or a camera, I'm old school even though i'm only 24. I love not having hill assist, but would have been tuned out anyway when i purchased HP tuner software. I love my 2010, period. The steering wheel, the only thing I want to change on it is the shocks and springs and sway bars and strut braces. Once I get the suspension done, I'm going to go ahead and get the wider wheels as weekend wheels.
In my opinion, the 2010 is a much better buy if you want the power but none of the extra junk. The cd player is my only gripe because I would actually like to have the mylink just because I like having a screen to better show me my ipod menu. |

they perfected the Camaro in 2012.
Rocky1974 the black on the 1le is just a vinyl wrap. It can be taken off.

I like the NPP exhaust but coming home late at night, or if I ever go anywhere early in the morning our neighbors get pretty annoyed with loud cars. My brother did not help that much with his 2004 Mustang GT, and not really now with his 2013 GT. |

As much as I like my *newer* 2011, I still miss my *original* baby. Never had a problem with my 2010. I got it certified pre-owned as well, but then I barely knew her....

Update to this...
Found a 2010 with less than 10k miles on it. Deal is essentially done, will have the vehicle this weekend! Any idea if my user name can get changed...? Kinda doesn't fit anymore. Also copious pictures will be posted when I have the car. |

I have a 2011 2SS that I got last november, only had 3975 on it when I got it, think I am over 6200 now, don't drive it in the winter, when I bought it I drove it for a couple weeks and then parked it til late march, was a tough wait but to avoid the salt on the roads and rock chips during winter it had to be done. love my car!

except the oil pan gasket was just replaced under warranty. A common early '10 issue that costs $2,000.00+ if out of pocket. Any '10 SS you consider I would check for any oil leaks if the car is out of warranty.

I just bought a 2010 two weeks ago. HID headlight leaks moisture, and works on and off. and now the rear led tail light is about to burn out.
No big deal , no regrets for me. I still love the car. . It does seem that for the people who have had to replace their timing chain, it seems most of them are 2010's ... but I'm still thinking this is nit picking, as this still doesn't seem as common as one would be led to believe. |
