Yes :-) i first i check to see if its a V8, then I peek inside to see if its manual, then i look for mods, or C5 emblems lol. Guilty as charged

Can usually tell what it is from a glance and/or listen. I don't approach people's cars.

If i is an SS or a ZL1 I will give it a once over to see what might be done to it and if its a stick or not. It is funny my wife will point out Camaros to me when we are out but she has learned to not bother if there is no mail slot
 or the obvious ZL1 hood
