Yea, cause you know that everyone is waiting to see cool car porn Since the other big builds have gone by the wayside, you're still keeping it interesting

My next guess will have to be a cheese intake manifold

Here is an additional picture about 75% completed...

This is a 3D print of the new custom intake manifold we are building...

We will have two of these, to bolt on the motor for spacing and fit... This is representative of the base flange and the velocity stacks. The velocity stacks will extend up into the plenum base.

These items when completed will be installed to a representative motor for fit and spacing... We will then design and test fit the plenum base or bowl which will fit over and around all of the velocity stacks

From there we will design and build the top which will bolt to the base of the plenum.

We are looking for a very short runner intake with a very large plenum space. The design purpose is to allow for very high RPM pulls. With the factory intake, the car nosed over hard at 7000 RPM and this was due to the intake design. As for how high we will spin the motor, that will be determined when we have the car together and are tuning it...

We will also use this to determine the location of the throttle body.

Once the final design is determined, we input the data into solid works and have these pieces cut out on a CNC machine...

Or goofiest....

Or both....

Here is a picture of the first side completed. This will give a better perspective of the purpose of these...

It took about 24 hours to print this one, and will take about the same for the second one....

3d printing is awesome technology.

This intake looks excellent, and similar design to what many high rpm/performance Jap engines would use.
I dont think necessarily the long runners always hurt rpm's, but lack of plenum volume can.
If you consider a lot of ITB setups would have reasonably long runners, they excel at high rpm's

What the the heck is this doing on page 3? I've never seen it this far back here, just doesn't seem right!

I've tried everything I can think of but I no longer get emails telling me when threads I'm subscribed to are getting new comments, I have to log on & try to remember them then check them on my own, it sucks! I need help please!

Then on another note, did I piss you off dude? You haven't responded to a ton of my text messages the last few times. Sorry for whatever if I did something but I don't think I did, maybe I'm being a whiny little girl & your just busy, doesn't seem like you though.
