From where can I buy the gauge cluster?

Hi guys,

I have a Camaro ZL1 2014 US built and I tend to take it over to Sweden where we use the metric system and I would like to get the gauge cluster that has the analog speedometer in km/h and I've heard the Canadian version ZL1 has just that.

Is this correct?

From where can I purchase this gauge cluster? Does anyone have a good contact that I can get in touch with. I also need to know that the gauge cluster will be plug and play with the US version.

Thanks!

All Canadian cars have the metric gauge clusters, not just the ZL1. I'm thinking that any dealership should have the option of which one to order? If not try Jenn at Highland Chev here in Canada, she is great to C5 members. She is blkngldbabe on here.

Thank you. So there is no difference between the ZL1 and other gauge clusters? They all show up to 300 km/h etc etc?

Ahhhh, my mistake. I was thinking of the four pack gauges on the console, sorry. I just checked the speedo on my '14 2LT and it goes to 260KPH. I can't remember on my '10, it's in the shop currently.

Yes, the US cars do the same thing but their MPH doesn't go as high as our KPH does.

That is right, but the mph gauge only goes up to 200 mph/kph. I want the 300 gauge, and they only exist for cars built for Canada or Europe where we use the metric system.

The SS speedo goes to 300km/h and the ZL1 is 330km/h IIRC.

If you physcially change the cluster, you will need to have someone program it to match your cars VIN. Otherwise it wont work and will through your anti-theft into a fit.

Thanks for the heads up!

Cluster

Sorry forgot all about this.. Didn't get a part number as you can't just order a cluster due to people trying to roll back mileage. They told me about $500. You should be able to go to your dealer down there, get them to plug in and get all the info and order one with correct mileage for you.
