"The lower control stays fixed relative to car centerline resulting in no toe change as long as the tie rod end is attached to hub in the same plane of the lower strut attachment point the caster related toe changes will not be measurable for 1-degree change of camber"
Yes the tow does change, I have changed mine many times and it does change a little bit but nothing to worry about if you are not going to drive it like that for a long time. It does change and the service manual does say so. It is because the pivot of the camber is not inline with the steering or tie rod. Very little change and nothing to bother with. |

Looks like you got the front an rear toe +/+ on the front and back.
Going to make your car drive squirrelly on the street... Hunter machine they should have got it exactly right -/- .. unless you like it that way on the track Last edited by More-Gas; 09-21-2014 at 07:02 AM. Reason: . |

Haha, I posted this after a couple beers and noticed I mis-read your hunter machine alignment spec sheet. You actually have Toe-In on the front and back. Sorry for messing up your thread OP. I guess drinking and posting is like drunk driving you can do it but it's usually a bad idea. Good luck with the Z28. |

no worries...you did get me to go over them again though. I really depend on the shop to provide the best set up.

My SS had similar setup from the factory.
The car was difficult to drive straight down the road and turned weird. I found a place with a hunter machine and discovered the left front wheel was pointed out with with Toe-Out on the back too. Makes me wonder if the alignment team in the Oshawa factory are going for beers at lunch..?? |
