Outlaw Exhaust System?

I want to get a good exhaust system for my 13 camaro ss. I am very interested in the flowmaster outlaw exhaust. Ive seen many videos for it and I love the way it sounds. Anyone who has installed this exhaust on their car, whats your opinion on it. And what would be better if I do decide to install it... should I just get the mufflers or the whole exhaust kit.

I got the axle back and installed it myself. Has a nice rumble to it, sounds awesome at wot and barely any drone. Best mod so far!

If you have the money go for a catback, but if you want to settle for something cheaper but still get an awesome sound go for the axle back. My buddy has a 5.0 and the outlaw sounds mean! I can only imagine how amazing it would sound on a 6.2

It's sounds great, but if you plan long tube headers, it is obnoxiously loud....

I currently have Kooks LTs, no cats, Outlaw cat back and a cam. The car sounds absolutely amazing, but once I added the cam it's a bit too loud. I'm going to add some high flow cats to shut it up a little bit.

I'll try to post a video for you.

I thought the Outlaw was going to be too loud based on the sound bytes I heard. I'm getting some axle back Flowmaster Force II's on Wed. I'm also following up with Kooks Long Tubes next week. I'll do some sound clips of stock then just the Force II's then the Force II's with the long tubes. I went with a mild exhaust because from what I read the LT's will wake up the system a little more.

Doing a drive by at WOT - Pre Cam

This one is my car idling. (It's so loud it hurts your ears in person!)

Oh, they loud! I've never heard the Force IIs. I've heard the American Thunders, they're nice too.

I had the outlaws with headers and it was loud. I hand to drive normal because every time I gunned it on the street it was driving me crazy. I had to remove them because I was loosing back pressure and the car felt slow. I bought the npp and docent have the same deep sound as the flow master but my car feels much faster.

Thank you, sir. I'm very pleased with my Kooks, but either of those other two are just as good. (I looked at all three but just picked Kooks.)

Honestly, I really haven't. I don't drive it too obnoxiously often. I've had a couple of different cops stare at it, give me complements and talk to me about it at gas stations. Sometimes when I see a cop while driving I just push in the clutch and coast...

Agreed. That's where I'm at right now. I'm adding high flow cats to help with the rich gas smell and cut down the volume. If it's still too loud for me then, then I'll look at other options.

Back pressure you say. I do believe you have suffered from what they call the placebo effect.
