Ever get use to the stares?

My buddy has a 14 GT 500 that he just bought, and man that thing gets stares! My camaro never got the stares or pictures being snapped :( I live in California so camaros, regular 5.0s and Challengers are kind of a dime a dozen. I do like the 2014 Camaro front...looks real good with the hood vent.

The economical v6 version of the mustang camaro and challenger are more than a dime dozen around here. 10 to 1 ratio for economical v performance models. If I do see a 5.0 ss or srt8 I'm looking too see mods, like tires suspension after market exhaust if it's stock I could care less... And if it's a modded 6 I'm staring because it's funny not even close to admiring.

I don't think the average joe public really cares about or can tell the trim level or mods or performance, they love the car for its design and styling.

My sister jokingly asked us to not drive the Camaro when we come by her school, we made the mistake of dropping by to return something we'd borrowed last week right as class was letting out, the bus driver wasn't happy that the kids were gathered around our car and 11 month old daughter instead of getting on the bus

I'm from Luxembourg, and since I have my Camaro, I just see turning heads. Had already people taking photos (also in Switzerland), people screaming "Bumblebee", thumbs up, a father of a little boy asked me to take his son on a ride (because he loves transformers).. Chick's staring at me... But it's mostly guys and kids...

When im driving down the highway and a tahoe pulls up beside me with a women with the window snapping photos. I tend to think its the car...it doesnt happen in my nissan pathfinder or honda crv. So im going to disagree with you...but i will say this...orange paint with white stripes does attract attention.

Lol everyone can tell especially if your in a 5,0 or srt8. You decided to think they can't. I always know whether it's a v6 or v8 no matter how hard they try to disguise there v6.

But is it sonething that happens everywhere? So much that you'd have to get use too.. You are not famous .. It happened once.

Once you get use to attention it becomes very very annoying. I have a full sleeve tattoo it gets ton of attention and I can't stand it. I just want to buy a soda or candy bar I can't without people asking who did that where at how much and this has happened 1000x staring is annoying.

I can add many more stories if you like...drive through..window goes down in a minivan...photos....mall parking lot...guy taking pictures as my wife and i walk up....car shows...ive let many people that show a general interest in my car take a photo in it. It is just a car, i get that...but ive said it before....colour combo has alot to do with it. Not just for the camaro ..but other cars as well. Its happens way more then once. From young kids that get excited when i come around the corner where they live.....they now expect a good shot of throttle to hear my exhaust everytime ..i dont disappoint. Did it tonight with my 16 year old daughter with me. Nothing like making 8 year olds smile and cheer. T hey cheer the car, not me ..and thats ok.

You obviously love the attention.. Like the OP. Look at her photoshoot in her profile. Nothing wrong with it I just don't enjoy it and It's annoying to me. I don't care to hear people tell me about how they're gonna buy a camaro one day and put this and that on it. I'm listening so someone's fantasy at that point.. Annoying. I love my camaro hands down favorite car I've ever had and the nicest.. But when I'm getting new tires and the discount tire guy would rather talk about my car than put tires on and get me out of there It's annoying.

And I usually laugh at people in camaros that pull up looking around to see who's looking at them. It's in all types of cars not just camaros. Frs' honda si 350z with neon rims... I get a good laugh at the "bad asses"
