Has anyone painted their "Shark Fin"? I know some pieces of the car that stick out like that are made with a plastic that makes painting it impossible. Can the "Shark Fin" be painted, and will it mess with the XM frequency?

mine is painted.

doesn't interfere with onstar or anything.

just use some adhesion promoter before you apply paint!

Anyone with a metallic paint car have the fin painted? CGM in particular. Any difference in the reception?

You did it yourself??? Did it match perfectly? How much would it cost to get it done professionally?

mine was painted when my paintjob was done.

I'm sure you would have no problems doing it yourself though.

There is ALOT of coats of paint on my car/shark fin. No problems with reception.
