Out of curiosity, for those of you who have your cars, about how long did it take from production to delivery here in NE?
Ordered from H&H on 10/17/2008, delivered 7/13/2009. It of course, won't take that long for you because they didn't build any cars until March of 2009. Mine was born on 6/18/09, so a little less than a month. Dale is the order man at H&H if you have any questions.

I was mainly trying to get an idea of the transit time from Canada to NE once the car has actually been produced. I'm thinking my 'best case' scenario (assuming no QC issues) is that if it gets produced on the first day of my TPW week (8/17), it probably will be at least 8/31 before it gets here. Probably another week to have the extras done @ H&H..... So if the 'best case' happens, who knows??!!?? Could be driving to the Florida Atlantic game in my new camaro!! (6pm kickoff, so I could technically pick the car up that morning & drive it that night!!!) I'm just so dang excited to get it!!

rmpackers: I haven't spoke to Dale directly, but my sales guy (John Schultz) has forwarded responses from Dale to questions I've had in the past. How would you rate your experience with H&H thru this process?

My first salesman, who was not yours, was a complete and utter waste and I ended up firing him! Jeff Hinchcliff took over (yes, H of the H&H) then things went very smoothly and we all kinda learned together. They have been great ever since. My car has a tiny rock chip on the hood from transport and they are repainting it next week. The back plastic bumper thing that covers the lower rear, was smashed by the rail yard people. Jeff told us about it and had it replaced before we got there. He would not have had to do that, we would have never know it was damaged. And all through the process they said absolutely no over charge, it even ended up being less than the original estimate! I'd go there again! If you ever have any trouble, tell them you know me, that will scare them into line!

That's awesome. Hope they are as good with me as they've been with you. Kinda concerned about the GFX -- they made a comment when I ordered back in May that I was only the 2nd one to order them. Seen some posts on this site about problems with inexperienced installers. Wouldn't worry except that I want to have the GFX painted, and according to GM, this voids the warranty. Hopefully if something happens to the GFX due to the install (and not to do with 'paint'), that H&H would stand behind their work. Did you have them do any custom work after the car was delivered?

Ours left Canada on 8/12 at 3:34 p.m. As of last check, she is in northern Indiana with no ETA given for Fairfax. Hoping she might hit KC this weekend - would like to buzz down and see if we could see her on the train.

Not yet, but they are repainting the hood next week. It had a tiny rock chip right in the center from transport. Jeff said when I was willing to give up the car for a few days, they would repaint it. I don't ever want to give up the car, but I want it done before we vacation next month. the GFX is sweet and i would want the color to match, but I read on the site about how low they actually are, and I thought, crap, I won't even be able to get up my driveway without scratching it! They'll do fine, I think FastEddie had them put on his white stripes on his IBM, and it's awesome!

Ed, you live hard and play hard! Oh well, at least you'll leave a good lookin' corpse behind!
I posted a Nebraska camaro club on the Community tab, Husker Nation. I also posted beandip's invite to Fastback's next Wednesday if anyone is interested. Thanks!

I seem to remember mine taking less than two weeks from VIN to delivered. Then I was out of town for nearly another week TPW was first week of June, delivered last week of June. They also installed stripes once it got there. Did a great job as far as I could tell.

Dale prefers you go through your sales person, of course maybe he just got tired of me stopping in and changing my options He is a great guy though.

Also, just got an oil change there w/ filter for $71 after tax, which at $7.8 * eight quarts or Mobil1 and a couple bucks for a filter, comes out to like $4 for their labor. A pretty good deal.
