I love my ZL1, but I think I would love the new C7 Z06 even more, especially since I track my car..

I'm glad you feel that way, so we deserve a Z06 Corvette as an alternative?

That's really bad news for people trying to sell ZR1's.

Well I was at the dealership today. I think I am going pass and keep the ZL1. I sat in a stingray and I'm not sure I liked how the seat felt. I felt cramped in the car. At 6'1" 240 maybe I'm to big for the car. But what the heck,I still have a 580 hp car that I am extremley happy with.

Good thing you sat in one before deciding. It certainly is a tighter fit. Having owned a C6 I was really surprised how tight it is compared to a C6. I drove one for 5 minutes and it was "ok". Not sure I'd have felt the same way after an hour drive.

Bottom line is that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, that I don't like about my ZL1. ADM built me an unbelievable engine.....I love the way the car rides, handles, sounds and looks.
I'll keep my money in my pocket, and be more than thankful for what I have. No knock on the C7 Z06, but I'm good with the cards in my hand.

Well I went to the dealership yesterday as well and hung out inside a Stingray. I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the car. Obviously the outside is stunning and I love the way it looks. The inside is just like you guys described, a bit cramped at first but I contribute some of that feeling to not being used to it. Similar to how I felt in my first 5th gen Camaro with the lack of visibility. So I am guessing that like the Camaro I could get used to the cockpit of the Corvette. Head room was not an issue but lack of elbow space is concerning. I don't keep anything in my cars except the owners manual and a few detailing items so I don't need allot of storage space. The biggest thing that bothered me about the car was how the front edge of the seat kept my legs from resting comfortably on the pedals where I normally keep them. Could not get the seat adjusted right to save my life. I will try again another day when I go back to test drive one. Wanted to do it today but it was raining to hard to be test driving a car that I am not familiar with.
