Started to sand the mirrors, spent 2 hours getting half to sanded down by 60 grit. Looks like it will take maybe 6 hours to sand each mirror down to be ready for clear coat

did some more sanding during my break, managed to sand the front of the mirror. Now i only need to sand the bottom in order to begin using finer grits.

Looks awesome! Peel ply would sure save on sanding as well as soak up excess resin. What epoxy system are you using?

yeah the shape of the mirror is too oblong to vacuum bag...The entire mirrors is one unit, so it does not separate, debating picking up a orbital sander to just speed things up. For now i use my dremel with a sanding wheel to get major bumps out, then move in and sand the rest by hand. But a orbital sander is def on my to buy list for the rest of the exterior panels I'm doing.

Did a little more sanding on the bottom of the mirror during my lunch. Even though this part won't be seen once its on the car, i want it to look good as well. Just need to get in by hand and do the edges
