Thanks, I can't wait till the shows. We have them every Friday evening at the KMart parking lot by "The Green" off of 675, I think around exit 9. Also at the Ruby Tuesday's, on Tuesdays Benchwood exit off of I 75.

I just need my RJT. Hear today the AIr INtake will not be out until most likely Jan 2010 and the my GFX have 25 orders ahead of mine. All other upgrades are in. I got a 2SS / RS.

Hi Gins_R3S! Keep us informed on the status of your car - it'll be great to have you join us at KMart and elsewhere.

We are thinking of creating a club of some kind in the near future - you interested? No dues (so no dealing with the IRS!) just informal get-togethers and cruises every so often.

i got my mirrored turn signal bulbs in today. A very suttle difference, but sitting next to anybody elses camaro,...

well DIABOLI is in a class all by herself.

Did you clay bar it yet? Might be easier to do now instead of having to work around the stripes. You actually could Zaino it a bit if you want as the striper will clean off the areas to be done. Enjoy your new investment and maybe we'll see you out and about soon :-)

No I didn't. I emailed Sal Zaino and he told me to wait. Have the stripes done then do everything over the stripes. I can avoid the stripes. Tint gets done Wednesday, hoping stripes same day.

It will be here very fast. Railyard likely means it is in Dearborn MI. Mine was built and shipped to Dearborn last Wednesday, I picked it up yesterday. I'd say you will have it in a week or less! CONGRATS!

You'll only get your speed up to ~90mph in the 1/4, so tell her it's not scary! What worked for me: leave traction control ON, and drive around the water. No need to light up these street tires. Have fun!

jrhaus- so maybe you'll be all spiffed up and ready to come out next Friday! I like the way Sal replies to the emails - nice customer service in these days when it can be a rarity. I didn't put stripes on mine as the IBM color is so great I can't bear to cover it up :-)

Yes the customer service is great! I am hoping to have it all spiffed up next weekend! At least started. I agree with the IBM should be "naked" Some colors ask for stripes but the blues look best naked. If I were to go black, also looks best naked.

Thanks for the feedback jrhaus. Does anyone who will be at KMart have the Lloyds floor mats? I am between the Ultimats or the Luxe. Lots of more $ for the Luxe but I am willing to pay the money if needed to get the quality. Any intel appreciated.

Actually I ordered floor mats from RPI. They haven't come in yet.

I visited my dealer (Jack Maxton Chevy in worthington OH) this morning to get an oil change and to fix my trunk release problem and I was shocked to say they had 3 Camaros on the floor. One deal fell through and one of the dealers employees let the other one go since he's in the middle of getting a house. I took pics of the ones inside the one outside was a silver with black stripes RS (not sure if it's 1LT or 2LT). one has the 21inch wheels GFX and painted on strips that look very sweet. they wrapped the strips around the spoiler and did the fronts to match the factory stripes. That one is going for about 45K both 2SS's are automatics, not sure what the RS is. sorry but my car was done before I could take pics of the RS. Anyhow sorry for the bad quality pics from my blackberry hopefully you can see the stickers good enough.
