1LE Winter Rims & Tires

Calling on all Winter drivers. I am looking to buy winter rims and tires for my 2014 2SS 1LE edition. If you could give me price, rim size, tire and location you bought them (if you are in Ontario). I would really appreciate it. I have looked through the 1LE forum but most of those guys are in the US and shipping from down there is super expensive.

I am hoping I can get a full set for under $1800. Also I have heard that the stock 2SS rims will not fit on the 1LE because of spacers needed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I just ordered snows and rims for my SS from tirerack. Had it shipped to my US post office box and went and picked it up. Shipping was like 60 or 70 dollars and you dont pay the obnoxious brokergae fees. Its a bit of work but probably the cheapest option. Canadian prices for car parts are stupid.

And from what ive read the 1le brakes are even bigger than the SS ones so your probably stuck with 20 inch rims or 19s with spacers.

I ordered blizzack dmv1 tires in 235/55/19 for all four corners. With some sport edition rims.

And you have the 1LE correct? The stock SS rims are 19's?

Sorry I'm being careful.

If that's the case I will try and find someone selling their stock rims.

Stock SS rims are 20x8.5 in front and 20x9 in the back ( I think).

The 20's will work on a 1 LE but the 19's wont.

Any wheel that fits an SS will fit a 1le the exact same way.

The only difference between the SS and 1le brakes are the 1le calipers are red. They're the exact same Brakes otherwise, therefore wheel figment is the same.

If you have the factory roller skate brake pads, 19's is the smallest you can go, if you use aftermarket front pads that don't have the roller skates, 18's will clear, some offsets might require a spacer or else you may have to grind the knuckle a wee bit.

Simply put, stock SS 20's will fit without any issues.

I'm planning on doing the same for mine, 20" SS on Pirelli Scorpion 245/45R20

Call up National Tire on Caledonia Rd - 416-785-7027. Cheapest price I was able to find (I think 345 a tire, balanced and lifetime install)...unless you find somewhere cheaper, in which case please let me know!

I ended up buying 20" 14' SS rims from a PBcamaro, slightly used rims and winter tires. Drove down to Indiana to get them for a good price. The cheapest I found in Toronto was $2200 for rims and tires :$
