Okay, I need to ask for some help from all of you fellow members. I really want to unload the ZL454 but I don't want to trade it in. The problem is valuing this car. I can't go to KBB, Edmunds or NADA to see what she is really worth. And, most dealers will only value her as an SS.
So, could I get some feedback on what everyone here thinks she is worth? The car is immaculate, always garaged and only has 23.2k miles on her now. As much as I would love to keep her, I think it would be best to try to consolidate into one year-round vehicle like an Escalade ESV or GL550. Thanks in advance for the help. Joe |

Your problem is that not only will the dealer value it for what it is, a 2010 Camaro SS, so will every bank, credit union, or any other leaning house in business. 99% of buyers will need a loan and with the hard financial issues people have been having for years now a large down payment is unlikely. Cash buying collectors won't be interested because of the miles.
To sell a car right now you have to be very competitive. List it on eBay a few times and see what it gets bid up to. That would be a pretty fair market value. I would guess you would be lucky to see over $27k. |

Yes it's still available.
There is a company called SLP that modifies Camaros like Shelby does for Mustangs. There are various packages that all start with ZL. Mine is the ZL454. Basically, with this package, they lower the car 2", put different wheels and badging on the car, change the hood and trunk lid to carbon fiber, add pulleys, cold air induction and axle back exhaust. The next level up would be ZL575 for a manual transmission which is basically a ZL454 with the TVS2300 Supercharger. If you want I email you the full list of add-ons that my car got. Build number is 114. http://www.slponline.com for more information. Thanks. Joe |
