Found out what it was... it's for the evap solenoid. Can't reroute it under the TB because the line doesn't flex, it's like a hard plastic. TechAFX sells a relocation kit that hides the heater hose, evap solenoid line and fuel rail flip for $289.00. Think I'm going to buy that, because the engine bay of the SS is gross lol. Will help clean it up a lot.

Well I guess take that route then. Glad the Z doesn't have that problem. Haha

It's mainly all the hoses on top of the intake. There's the 2 heater hoses, then there's the fuel line that goes across, and then this evap solenoid line. All of that basically sits on top of the intake manifold. I plan on painting the manifold and you can't see it that well with all the stuff in the way. With the hose relocation kit, the only thing you see on top of the intake once it's installed is the fuel rail going across (I plan on fixing that too with some FAST rails that are connected in the back instead of the middle). You have a pic of your engine bay?

For the EVAP, all I did, was cut the fittings off the ends of the hard hose and put a stainless braided line on them. I also relocated my evap solenoid under the fusebox.

For the heater hoses, I just bought the two gates hoses from O'Reilly's and called it a day.

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

That looks great! And great idea on the gates hoses... I may go to the store today and do the same thing.

How's the LSXR working out for you? Was it worth the money?
