I love your car, nice build. That steep hill you are up against is people walking into the dealership with a low down payment and getting very low interest rates. Your car is worth every Penny of your asking price and if you are willingmtomeat on it to find the right person with cash that wants those options it'll sell. Otherwise for a quicker sale, de-mod it and sell as a plain ZL1 and sell of the parts. Hell I'd be interested in some of the parts but it's a lot more work for you.
Good Luck, beautiful looking badass car.

As stated above, you're going to have to find someone that has the cash to buy this outright and that's few and far between. A bank is only going to finance the NADA value of the car which is right around $50k. So for your asking price, someone would need to have $28-30k in cash laying around to add on top to cover. Just not many people out there that can afford that. I agree with Trackman in his earlier post that this car is probably worth $55-60k. I know you take a beating on the car at that price, but that's the name of the game. Doesn't really matter what shop does the performance mods either as Lingenfelter, Hennessey, Callaway, etc. all sell for substantially less than what you put into them. It all boils down to the old saying of "You gotta pay to play". At the end of the day, the car is only worth what someone will pay for it.

^^^I agree. I've had a lot of modded sports cars and lost thousands on the mods. I still keep doing it. It's a addiction really. The best way to get your money back is to demod it if you can do it yourself. The guys that can spend that kind of money on a car are buying c7 z06s or building their own cars the exact way they want. Love the build by the way. The only thing I would of done different would of went with a aluminum block.

Lowering it 2k isn't going to move this car.
Post it on ls1tech might get a little more movement. My advice and don't take this negatively as you have taken everyone telling you what the reality is, is to part the car out. If you're price was sub 60k I'd probably consider paying cash for this car.

If I could part the car our I would. If I still had the stock stuff. I would a already had it swapped out to make the sale. I figured the lsx and trans and everything would sell. Just I don't have a lsa motor anymore

Someone above hit the cash thing right on the head......if someone has $75K-$80K for a car, there's a reason they have that much cash and they don't like to give it all up on a car.....they get a loan....Now your car has no real warranty and really isn't "loanable". At your price.....I can get a 3-5K mile ZR1, GTR, Z06 and even wait for the new Z06 for a little more....all loanable with full warranties. You want to know what its worth? Make a video and put it on Ebay and the highest bid is what its worth....there are buyers there. I've built and sold 5 Camaros in past 2 years.....there more buyers on craigslist than on this forum......for truth. ....And omit the picture of the tranny....something doesn't add up there....its very dirty with a large stain right on top. A 2014 6K mile trans...refreshed to stage 5....should have been bead blasted and should be as clean as those valve covers. ....was it r&r'd multiple times by ungloved people? Point being....someone who is going to pay for that monster is going to be picky. Make a video and lets hear it idle and drive by. Just trying to help. GLWS |
