Find it and follow the directions. It really shouldn't be that hard to use. Good luck!
Just to add - you put it thin to the point where you don't thinlk you have any on....

the other thing too...isn't the Z2 for lighter cars and there is a different Z wax for dark cars??????/ I thought I saw that some place......

Maybe you got a bad batch - remember when they say use sparingly "use it sparingly.....I can wax my car, detail my wheels with polish and then go back and take the wax right off. about 1 hour in july parked in the garage.

GL - you have got the wax so I hope you try one more time
I love it

I applied the 10 coats because as many have said, it only got better the more you added. Personally, I like to feel a "slick" final finish on my cars. Some had said that it would have to be buffed and polished in order to achieve the same feel that my 68 has. After applying 1 coat of Zymol and Mequiars, they feel almost identical and the 68 has multiple, multiple coats on it.

I liked the idea of the Zaino products, but honestly, for the cost, I can't just go buy it when I need it and the excessive labor required and to not achieve the same effect as a much cheaper application, I'm gonna have to pass in the future.

I've got a buddy with a 2005 Vette and he's having the same issues or worse...........he applied the Z-CS and it NEVER dried in.............and I know he applied it sparingly. He sang it's praises to me and his last shipment didn't work like some in the past.

Maybe Zaino has had some issues in production.

2 keys though............

1. Always use 2 buckets to wash with and

2. Always use good quality microfiber towels. (Remember, if they pull at your skin, they WILL scratch your finish.)
Do you not like 100% cotten towels - thats my fear with the Micros...they just seam rough to the touch .......... I always grab one on the shelf when I see a new one....I know they take the wax off better but man..I hate to scratch it when taking off wax if you know what I mean..........I use the micros on my wheels, cotten for the body

I had some issues with the Z6 Detailer gloss spray, but learned not to apply too much or it will leave films and residue. I still like using Turtle ice wax.

That stuff reminds me of a couple of spray polishes that we used on the motorcycles when I worked at a local bike shop. Honda polish and Plexus. Both left a nice polished feel and both were "cleaners".

The problem is that if you spray something on a painted piece--and continue to clean off the grime and dirt with a rag as you're polishing--that you're going to be rubbing that grime and dirt into the surface simply by virtue of the process itself. You're putting micro abrasions into the clear.

Better to clean the car using the right products, clay bar, then polish / wax AN ALREADY CLEAN surface with a good protectant product.

I wonder if Zaino would be willing to send you a new bottle of ZFX in exchange for the one you got?
rolnslo....that car looks amazing!!

Just got my Black camaro yesterday and going to try Zaino for the first time this weekend. S. GA very hot and humid so I hope I don't run into same issues.

I fell for it and bought the whole Zaino package. After a lot of work I don't see any better results than Mothers. Sorry Zaino guys!

Thanks.

I did all my work in the shade under a temporary car port. This helped to keep the direct sunlight off of me...um, the car... during the hours I spent doing the entire process.

After the dawn wash, clay bar, and Z7 wash, I did 2 coats of Z5 and 1 coat of Z2 with Z6 after each coat. I need to find some time over the next couple of weeks to get a couple more coats on...and try it out on my wife's black '04 Expedition.

The microfibers that I use are almost like rabbit fur they have such a long nap. I get them at AutoZone.........my 68 hasn't been washed in 3 or 4 years.......all I do is wipe it down with Mothers Showtime Quick Detailer or Turtle Wax Ice if I'm out at a show or cruise-in in the sun. I use the MF for this as well as removal of the Zymol and Meguiars and I get asked all the time why my cars don't have swirl marks.

The key to that is light pressure when wiping down and straight line app and removal of waxes.

I also applied Zymol and Meguiars to my Midnight Silver wheels and they look much better.........brake dust is not sticking like it was before either.

I washed with Zaino car wash, used Z6 to remove water spots, and applyed Z5 on my black 2SS. I was a bit dissipointed as well as I had the same smearing issue. I started off with a small amount of Z5 but it did'nt cover very well, there were areas of dark smearing along with lighter spots. Next time I'll stick with using less Z5 and use 100% cotton towels along with my mirco fiber towels.
