wait... so when we cut off the stock muffler, do we keep the stock resonators on? and then add the AR25 resonators with tubing? That means there would be 4 resonators? 2 stock 2 AR25???

please clarify, thanks!!!

yes, keep the stock resonators... simply cut out the mufflers only... then add the AR25 resonators...

Scrming, you are the shiznit btw. How is the drone. I mean i saw your vid and you said you could barely here it.. which is good. But there is a little though? Would the sound change if you added 4 inch tips?

renderinfo described it best in my other "in cabin" video:

"I listened to the video with headphones, and the "bass rumble" while you were cruising was noticable (around 2K), but like you said, not unpleasant at all. And I can hear you talking and the music and the tirenoise clearly, but that cool rumble sound was still present in the background."

Great suggestion listening to it with a set of headphones! I really hate to call it a drone... renderinfo described it best a the "bass rumble"....

I asked about bigger tips, was told really would not make a difference...

Put on some theater headphones and OMY OHMY! I was bent on corsa but this dude is a genious! Tiny power increase + sound + 3mpg increase or more... for under $300 complete!. Game over man, game over!

I have a 7 month old daughter who i was kinda worried drone aboutfor long trips, so corsa seemed like a clear cut winner. I just didnt want to go overboard in price when there are other things that need $$$ also. I just dont see how anyone will top this.

Yes, cut out the big bulky mufflers and replaced them with resonators:

Ok... bit of an update...

1) Shop is still waiting on the resonators. Will take them about a week or two to start shipping kits after the resonators show up...

2) Will be competitively priced vs other muffler delete kits.

3) Kit will be made from T-304 Stainless Steel, including the hangers.

4) Owner said he will look into 4 inch tips. He did say it will effect the sound but can't be sure exactly how much change or if it will be better or worse.. (i also notice I need to make a new take off video... I believe the sound has actually gotten better since I made the first video.. yes, pipes actually "seaon" and will sound better after a while!)

5) There maybe the possibility of some type of group buy or perhaps an introductory special.

Also, I had a chance Thursday night at the Pre-Woodward Camaro show to have a little talk with Al Oppenheiser, the CAMARO CHIEF ENGINEER!!! That will be another thread for tomorrow!

SCRMING!! I just got my car back from my custom exhaust shop, who put the same resonators as yours on for me, after all the bending, and welding, it was finished in about 1.5 hours.

The first thing the guy said to me, when I walked in was.... "It sounds like a Ferrari"

Doesn't have the Import ricer sound, but is as close to a V8 IMO.

Thanks for doing all that testing on your ride, so that people like me didnt have to worry as much when we got it done!! You should roll to chicago sometime so we can cruise!
