What interior do you have?
Hello! I was wondering what you have for interior. I recently purchased my 2nd Camaro (traded in the old one) so I currently own a 2014 1SS/RS. I came from a 2LT and it was an automatic. So you can imagine the happiness I am feeling switching to a manual v8. Honestly the drive of the car is what I love most about it. It fits me perfectly. And the exterior of the car is even better than my old one. I am planning on parking my car for the winter soon (I live in Ohio) and I want to dump some money into my interior. I currently have grey cloth interior, so nothing too special honestly. I wish Chevy would have done a little more with the interior, but anyway, I want to know what interior you have in your camaro and if you've done any custom work to the interior. (Pictures are always a good thing
 ) My camaro is ashen gray and I would like to add leather seats and possible change the door panels (they're kind of cheap feeling) should I go with red leather or black? Does anyone have a dark brown leather interior? Lemme know what you think!

My red hot SS has black leather. I really wanted red leather but sadly the only thing close was the orange, which I suspect would have looked weird. I plan on getting some aftermarket red put in next year.

My wife has the Orange w/ black and I have dark gray w/ silver stitching, but plan on have the center replaced with shade to match the steering wheel if possible.

IOM is greatness. It took me a long time to find my car since I had to have the orange interior. have never seen the seats without the SS embroidery.

I have the monotone black interior with black plastic steering wheel, plastic door panels with plastic textured inserts, black cloth seats and carpet. The "the car didn't come with a single option" interior. lol. Cleans up easy. Plain and functional, kind of like the inside of a cop car.
I actually came in to recommend the Katzkins leather seat covers. I don't have them but every car I've seen them in, they look/feel fantastic when they've been installed properly. I see folks have already chimed in on them (with pics!) so I give them another 'thumbs up' I'm not a fan of using a sharpie to color seat stitching, spray painting or plasti-dipping interior pieces or any of that. It looks like vandalism. |

I bought a 1SS and added some takeout leather covers and gauge package. Covers were <350 + 200 to install. Gauges were <200.
