Rick, Hope you enjoy your vacation.
Abaucom21, that is a great 66 t-bird. However, you are going over to the dark side (ford) with that one. I understand your attraction to a former family car. My current 1969 camaro is very close to my first car in 1977. I noticed the body line going down the side of the car resembles a Saturn V rocket. It wides when it gets to the door handle. Any connection to 1966 space race, I think so. My uncle has the Oldsmobile version of your Riviera. Very nice cars. Good luck with your sale. Hope everyone has a great weekend. John

Thanks John.
I took it easy today, but still managed to replace the tail pipe hangers on my Chevelle and clean up my Camaro for the Pavilions Cruise. ![]() Here is the album link; http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=381598 I guess while everyone else's cruising season is ending, ours is getting started. Pavilions will progressively become more crowded as the weeks pass. With auction week in January, the place is off the hook crazy crowded! Some of my snowbird friends will be arriving in the coming weeks. It will be good to see them.

We had a very nice day yesterday cruising to Shiloh National Battlefield. Here are a couple of pics & link to more. Here are also a couple of pics of the last flurry of roses on my yellow rose bush.
Here is the link to the pic thread. Please post up your pics & videos & comment to bump the thread. Might just make the front page again! http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=381592

Rick, the car show was great. Your pictures are fantastic. I did not remember the Olds having the red inner wheel fenders on them. A friend of mines dad had a blue 442 with a special hurst automatic shifter in it. The ford ranchero ( I think that was on the rear fender) with the edsel front end was really neat. Neat Stuff !!
Jan, what great pictures from your cruise to go see Shilo !! Hallowed Ground for sure !! True freedom will always have a cost. Took the "red dragon" (my kids make fun of me for the "not street legal" reference to Will Farrells movie) out for a drive today. I think I will work on the car shed tonight. It is not getting done watching TV. John

Great pics Jan.
Thanks John. The W30 442'S got those red inner fenders. Not sure of the reasoning behind it, but they indicated it was more than a standard 442.

Thanks Rick & John.
Off today to go to the doctor. Just my women's physical (yuck). Then I will meet up with my best friend from high school who has her own real estate business to tour my parents place and discuss the best way to market & sell it. Then I will go visit my dad. Not sure what else I will do with my day. Have a good Monday crew.

Well, my women's health physical is done and after that I had a pretty nice day. I met my best friend from High school to walk through my parent's house & property to discuss selling it. Then I drove to see my dad. I ended up deciding to get him out of the assisted living facility for a while. I took him to get a milkshake, then down to Riverside park for a little walk & sat at a picnic table for a while then just took him on a little drive before taking him back. Here is a pic from the park then how many of my old fart friends know what is on this wagon I was behind for a while on the way home????

Looks like a great day Jan, except for maybe the doctor visit.
I thought I would only need one day to repaint my RV gate. The wood slats required two coats, so I had to take time to drive to Home Depot and buy more stain. Didn't finish painting the metal gate before nightfall, so I'll have to continue tomorrow. There are 90 bolts that secure the 30 wood slats to the two gates. If I left the slats on the gate, I would not have been able to coat some of the areas. But I might be done now.

Jan, my first guess of what is on the wagon was barb wire. But it would be to heavy for that wagon. Some type of vegetation ??
Rick, I forgot to say how shiny the blue on your Camaro is. The one photo makes it look like a mirror. John
