This is Josh from Dynospeed Racing, I handle the LSX build / jobs @ Dynospeed. We have never sold any of the smallest supercharger offerings of any of the supercharger mfg's. Thats not the main concern here though. Nor do I know of a single 2010+ camaro with a blown up motor we did a build on. We have a few 6.2 engines over 800whp and a couple over 900whp still holding together. Every customer with one of these knows they are on borrowed time but they just won't die. This time of year a few are trying to set new personal best and we have 3 stock motors we are adding more boost and nitrous on 2 of them to push them miles past the safe limits. If any of you guys make it out to the track tomorrow night check it out. Hopefully it will hook at memphis. I just spoke with Forrest in the back and he reminded me of a maroon camaro that the work was done at another shop with a P1SC that got towed in to us after the fact. If someone has a car we worked on that has blown up please post here or call me personally.

I am curious here.... If Dynospeed installs forced induction + tunes a vehicle and the motor blows up, what is the procedure taken on Dynospeed's behalf? Do you guys fix it at no cost to the owner? Is the owner shafted with the bill to fix?

Good experience: First time I met Josh and his shop. This was before he merged and had just started out. Nice guy, gave me a tour, let me watch him dyno tune a yellow C6. We started talking about custom fabrication for my car. Ended up getting rid of the car before got around to it.

Bad experience: Recently after the merger, but still sharing ownership with Ford guy. Had an install done. Decent price and professional in how he handled things. Whoever the installer was though was not as professional. Finished product was good, but after checking things was not so professional. I was missing pieces, screws, etc. When I called up there they claimed they put everything back, but I know this to be not true. It was not worth the fight or time for how much the missing pieces would cost to replace myself. After that I learned it's better to do it yourself.


I personally have never used GPI, but have seen nothing bad come from them yet nor heard anyone have issues that were not resolved by GPI.
