LS Heritage Wheel Center Cap

Anybody know where to get this piece in a chromed finish? I have a plan, dumb as it may sound.

Pry off trim ring.

Install chromed lug nuts and chromed center caps.

Looks kind of LEO-like, especially on a black car.

Told you it was dumb, but it would be unique.

I was wondering if it could be chrome painted. Saw it on Pimp your ride. I thought it would be a bright silver, it was a two step procedure and produced a mirror like finish. All you have to do is search on youtube and see it being shot.
Weird, I also was thinking of something similar to this too. Never found a stainless beauty ring, just some chrome plastic ones that I don't know would fit. Have to wait on someone to buy and try first.

I think it would depend on the car color, but brushing the underlying steel would fit the contrast of the all black wheel. Steelies were meant to look a bit industrial, but chroming in certain areas while brushing in others could make the wheel stand out and look more pleasing to the eye over just straight chrome to black.

Just my opinion but if I do an LS, I'm doing this.

But instead, doing a brushed outline of the spoke edges as well w/ clear powdercoat. Sort of like the Gbody Hurst rims in the 80s. But more along these lines:

Keep the ideas coming, please.

Nice thing about experimenting with the steelies, at least with paint, initally, is that it's easy to redo. Even if you were to get into polishing/etching, etc., you're not out much if it doesn't turn out to your liking.
