Adding a CAI tomorrow. That will be the last mod I do on my 2SS/RS ABM M6 Camaro, at least for now. Still an outside chance of adding rally stripes in the future, but she's so hot as is, may just leave her Au Naturale BTW just over 1300 miles now and after installing the Borla's today, I am driving her a little harder. Break in time is just about over, and it's time for her to show her mean streak! I've had blue just over 3 months now, and am very happy with my baby !
How much did the Borla exhaust cost? What are cai's?

Depending on the exhaust system that you go with they start at $600 for the axle back like he installed and go up to $1600 with a complete cat back. A cat back is from the Catalytic Converters back and an axle back replaces the factory resonators in the rear section. A cold air intake will run you around $300 depending on which one you go with I like my G5CR intake a lot. They also sell the exhuast components, I'm getting a Magnaflow system really soon.

Sorry for adding my newbie question too, but How do you know if you get the L99 or LS3, I was offered no option when I ordered, and didn't know at the time there was more than 1 V-8 going in. I was just too excited 'cause I won a stripped car and was in a hurry to get the upgrades to the RS 1SS packages.

Ls3 is a manual V8, L99 is an auto V8.

Thanks ,but that makes me mad I specifically asked if there was a difference in the motors between the auto and the manual and was told NO, buy the dealer. WTF? They are supposed to know more than the average person.
