Time for a Rebuild

Power-shifted into 2nd;
Heard a terrible noise-thought transmission came apart
Saw some coolant leaking toward the back of the engine
Then we decided to look down the throttle bore--kinda makes you sick.
Anyway,# 3 plug was destroyed
Pulled the head and wow!!!, Can't say I've ever seen that happen before
Further evaluation pending...................

Wow, that's terrible to see the damage like that up close. Sorry it happened to you. I found it takes a few days to get over the WTF feeling and start thinking about what you want your future to look like with the car. Lots of folks here to help sort through symptoms to root causes, and lots of people taking different routes to solutions who I am sure would be willing to help bounce ideas around for what comes next.

I'm in a transitional state and couldn't provide receipts for my oil changes. Most of all my documentation is somewhere in storage or lost. All I had was a detailed spreadsheet of every tank of gas I've ever bought (mpg tracking) and oil change approximate dates.

Damn!!! 66K and stock!!! Makes me worry! I sometimes drive it hard, but have never gone down to 2nd. What made you shift into 2nd and what RPM were you at? If you can recall that.
