So the press release is wrong in that:
  • It omitted the 2010 Synergy Green Edition
  • It includes the "2011 Synergy Series" (unless that is not what I'm thinking of)
What about the 2012 Synergy Series mentioned in the release?

I'm just curious why they have categorized some of these cars as SEs (when you state they're really not) and omitted the 2010 Synergy (when you state they are indeed SEs).

Not trying to bust anyone's balls; just seeking knowledge and clarification for my Cliff Claven-esque desire for trivial facts.

Further - I'd say that Team Camaro has done some pretty amazing stuff with this car -- such as the 1LE, the ZL1 and the Z/28.......again, reasons to disagree with you.

Team Camaro never rests......never.

Blow our mind ? Wow ! Maybe , we will get a 3rd or 2nd Gen front end and not this 14-15 front ! Pleeeeease ....... Lol

Why would we do that? (put a 2nd gen or 3rd gen face on the next gen...)

Trust me - the next gen Camaro will be a force to be reckoned with -- I've said "have faith" at least 20 million times and I'll say it again.

It really amazes me that no matter what we do (1LE, ZL1 and Z/28 -- ) there are still some that don't believe...........

So, are they really the HW wheels, just smaller? Or the SLPs?
They are the same 21" Hot Wheels ones, not smaller. If you read the full press release, you'll find that it states the convertible gets 21's, which are the Hot Wheels style red lipped ones shown. The coupe only gets 20's, which are the standard SS wheels, (perhaps with some new paint treatment to deem them "special") as shown on the red coupe. (See the 2 pics posted right above this post) To me this is a bummer because those wheels don't look nearly as cool as the ones the convertible gets, and I wouldn't consider anything but a coupe. As far as SLP wheels go, while they're a similar design but are 20's and are not OEM GM wheels, so you won't see them factory installed by Chevrolet, only on cars upgraded by SLP. The 21's however are GM's design, and are what is shown on the convertible.

Well , because we won't I whole different front and those do draw a large crowd! But any thing different than the 14-15 long squinty front grill will be a surprise and delightful! We all believe just keep thinking evolution instead of revolution, so all we can think is the same squinty front grill just with a little bit of modification. But alright ! I believe that you guys will deliver as always!

I think they used those stripes to ensure nobody will try to duplicate them to make a poser special edition. I'm ok with it, but the stripe would have to go. This is one time I would be glad it's not painted on.

I think this SE is neat. I am not interested in it, but think it'll sell. Especially the convertibles.
I think some SE ZL1s would rock! Something different to commemorate their return.
ZL1 Spring Edition!!

They did that last year. They called it a Z/28.

Yes, but it would have looked much better if they had ran it up over the header panel, like they did on that '68.
