I did the update to the newest software and have had no issues at all. 2013 ZL1 A6 Coupe.
It works great! I wish they would program a readout for Injector Duty Cycle! (Calculated from Pulse Width and RPM) That would get used by almost everyone! The Dashlogic is $250? It includes an exhaust controller for that price (save $50-70). What other gauge option do we have that is cheaper and less invasive? Glitchy or not, it is a slick product and $200 to avoid cutting up your car is a no brainer to me. |

Meh. Wish I could send it back and get my money back. Haven't used it in a month just because of the software glitches.

I have a 2014 ZL1 and I have the DashLogic with latest version of firmware (1.18a). It is directly connected to the OBDII interface. Thus far the only issue is I bump it with my shin when entering and exiting the vehicle. So I disconnect it after I use it. Statistics are displayed in the DIC, HUD, and MyLink.

I do not see many people saying it is glitch free. most say it has problems and now I see Palmer is not responding to customers. Think I will wait on getting this product.
I tried using their dash command software and it has problems also and they do not respond to my questions either.

Has anyone else used the ELM327 + Torque app on phone? I've been reading reviews on Amazon for the ELM327 and for some people, it says it doesn't work on any cars, and some it does. Does anyone have ELM327 working on their 5th Gen, and if so, where did you buy it from/link/model of the ELM327?
Thanks

ELM327 is a Bluetooth device that plugs into the ODB-II port of the Camaro. It sends information about the car such as rpms, speeds, temperatures, vacuum, etc to an android app. It's a cheaper version of DashLogic, just doesn't have as many features.
The ELM327 is about $15 on ebay, and the app is $5 in the app store.

Zero issues with my dash logic for over a year now. One of the best mods I've done. If you don't like it sell it. I'm sure you can make someone else happy.
It can show IDC. Just go through the list of PIDs.

When I tried to configure the unit with the MyLink display in the Off position (HUD & DIC only), I got the dreaded "Unnamed Road" message on the DIC. I ended up having to pull the cluster fuse to get the message to clear. For now I have my controller configured to display on all three screens with each page of the MyLink set to none. The unit seems happy in this configuration. Even with data just on the HUD and DIC, I still think the unit is well worth the cost.

I agree that it is a great unit/concept/mod....however, if an item does not perform as stated /advertised and the company can't/won't make it right after I've spent my hard earned money to purchase it, we have a problem....and I can not in good conscience recommend it to someone else.

I want one of these but there still seems there are issues with this product with some people with not enough customer support. With my luck I would fall in that catergory. Therefore a NO BRAINER for me would be glitchy free.
