Yes eather downtown St. Louis or one of the county's around, the track is big enough for NASCAR so plenty of hotels.

I know all about the track and lots of tracks are big enough and qualify, but one of the biggest things with this event is a large parking lot at a single Hotel where EVERYONE can hang out.

I figured since you were from the area you might know of a convention center type hotel that would fit this "requirement". Also large room for meet and greet needed.

What about camping at the venue ??
I'm sure many would enjoy that too.

300 rooms is a good size, with others in the area. Parking lot is key and not a huge distance from the track.

There are always folks that want to do this. It would be great to have it right at the track. Most who want to camp are tailoring their cars.

I'm not feeling good about the tone this thread has taken. Starting to feel like it is not just that they are delaying announcing until all details worked out. Now it sounds more like there is not a plan that is viable at all. I hope that is not the case.
