Okay, sorry... I misread I guess. I thought you meant your windshield and I was thinking, "No way, dude!" LOL

That is a crime and legitimate shops will not participate in that. The shop has no way of knowing also if you're a set up, in which case they'd lose their certification. I don't know of too many legit businesses that would risk that. I suppose some would, but I surely wouldn't do business with companies that commit crimes.

Honestly, the best thing you can do is go on a marginally warm day, and roll your windows down all the way prior to inspection. They are not required nor instructed to roll up or down your windows. If they don't roll them up as they shouldn't be changing anything in the car that isn't part of the check list, it should pass. Limo tint is illegal and very hard to see out of. That being said, on a show car it is beautiful. I know a place here in DFW that will tint the whole car for $100 or so... pm me if you want to avoid the fines and headaches.

Mickey, that makes no sense and is wrong, if the windows are down, we roll them up to test. Not instructed to roll them up or down, pleeeeeaaassee. Thats an old wives tale.

When he DOES hit someone - it's not "if" but "when" - he will be sued and your shop will be fined and also sued by the party he hits.

Under the Patriot Act, big brother is watching, listening, to everything that sets off the super-computer alarms. Asking how/where to break the law on the CAMARO5 forum puts the owner(s)/mods/members in danger also.

Look at some gun forums and see how quickly some threads are closed, posts deleted, and people banned. That was funny a couple of decades ago, but no longer.

"I'm 15 and want to buy a machine gun and some hand grenades. Can someone help me out"? - It doesn't take a post like that to be on the "list" of possible domestic terrorists. The fact that he posted he KNOWS what he wants is illegal is BAD JUJU.

I'd hate to be a shop owner and have someone post my shop's name as being "on the take"
