Next mod!
I have currently just started modding my car and now i'm looking into my next mod. I already have a ported throttle body and Vitesse's throttle controller. Now i'm just wondering which of my next mods would give me the most bang for my buck. The options are:
1. Cold air intake by CAI 2. either Corsa cat back exhaust or Borla Atak 3. SOLO hi-flow cats I'm leaning more towards the hi-flow cats. Can i get your input on the options? thanks!! |

Intake and headers with a tune. Leave the stock catback on for now.

Like Bo White said, the factory exhaust flows good and you wont gain anything but sound with a cat back
Out of the list you put the cai is what id go with |

Absolutely a tune & headers IMHO. The TSP headers are a great option. For price & quality they cant be beat. We can also do you a mail order tune or a hand held tuner for the mods for a great price!!

If it must be one of the 3, I would say the hi-flows. Get quite a bit of sound and some power.

CAI will give you the most HP gains out of that list, require no tune, will allow you to get more benefit from that ported TB, and will set you up for the exhaust later. It will also give you a little better exhaust note at WOT, so you'll still add some sound benefit as well.
Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help. |
