If the Pick is GATEWAY!! CCW permit holders might as well leave your firearms home. Not a gun carry friendly State. They honor no out of state permits that I know of.

I've been concerned about that also. Not even conducive to keeping a firearm in your car.

Thank God I haven't needed one in 31 years either, but I have worked in different aspects of law enforcement most of my career and have a pretty good insight on what goes on out there.

Also, if it were in Illinois, it would likely be a two week trip for me and my family through many high crime areas to visit a state that has a significantly high crime rate among it's urban locations, and you expect me to not be concerned about their safety?

Removed my comment since you can't seem to discuss guns without someone turning it into a political discussion, but I hear you. Just don't necessarily agree. Use those ponies to get to safety if you feel threatened.

But anyways... back to speculating about the Cfest location..
